Help on downloading and using objects
In case you don't know how to get those new objects into your game, here are some instructions to help you along.

  1. Download the file(s). It doesn't really matter where you download them to, as long as you'll be able to find them later.
  2. If you don't have a program that can unzip .zip files, now would be a good time to get one. WinZip and StuffIt are two programs you can use, but there are others out there as well.
  3. Unzip the .zip files.
  4. Go into the folder (or folders) you unzipped and take a look at the contents. There should be a .iff file and a readme.txt inside.
  5. Put the .iff file in your Maxis / The Sims / GameData / Objects folder.
  6. Enjoy your new Lost Sims object!
